Publication Alert! Critical evaluation of internal and external calibration methods for accurate strontium isotope ratio determination

Under the leadership of Anastassiya Tchaikovsky, the HistoGenes team has worked on a publication focusing on the calibration of measurements of the isotopic composition of strontium (⁸⁷Sr/⁸⁶Sr). This research holds important implications for archaeological, anthropological, as well as earth and food sciences. The study found that internal calibration can produce biased results and therefore recommends using external calibration.
