CEZA | Curt-Engelhorn Zentrum für Archäometrie

The Curt-Engelhorn-Zentrum Archäometrie gGmbH is a nationally and internationally active research institute and service provider in the field of archaeometry in Mannheim (Germany).
Founded in 2004, it now consists of the Laboratory for Material Analysis and the Klaus Tschira Laboratory for Physical Age Determination.


For HistoGenes, the laboratory carries out 14C dating of bone or dental collagen and participates in the analysis of isotopic data (Sr, N, C, 14C).
