New Video on our Youtube Channel

Since the begining of the project we upload videos to our Youtube channel. The series Researchers of HistoGenes just received two new additions! In this series some team members introduce themselves and their work within the HistoGenes project.

We uploaded the video of Joscha Gretzinger, who is a Postdoc at the Max-Planck-Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig. His work focuses on the periphery of the project, mainly the areas of modern day Ukraine, Poland and eastern Germany. Through finescale sampling he aims to reconstruct how migration and admixture influenced the local gene pool.

Additionally, we uploaded the video of Denisa Zlamalová who is an archaeogenetics doctoral student at the Masaryk University in Brno. Through her thesis she contributes to the HistoGenes project.
