From October 18th to 21st, 2022, Budapest, Hungary was the gathering place for leading experts in genetics, archaeology, and historical research at the HistoGenes Plenary Meeting. Co-hosted by the Institute of Archaeological Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) and the Institute of Archaeogenomics at the Research Centre for the Humanities (RCH), ELRN, this conference provided an excellent platform for academic exchange.
